Responsibilities of IT Engineers
We are looking for a Software Engineer who can help develop new tools and automation to improve the workflow and effectiveness of the IT team. In this role you will oversee a small vendor team and work with them on developing and supporting projects ranging from internal web site development to AI projects leveraging Azure Cognitive Service. In addition to developing new tools and adding features you will also be responsible for providing break-fix support for existing tools and services. Excellent customer service, interpersonal awareness, vendor management, and communication skills will be pivotal in this role.
Proficiency coding and debugging with C#
Comfortable with SQL
Experience using Git in a team environment (merge, rebase, squash, resolve conflicts, appropriate use of branches)
Strong communication, problem-solving, and debugging skills
Ability to learn quickly in fast-paced environment.
Experience using Cloud services (Azure or AWS)
Proficiency coding and debugging with PowerShell
Experience using multiple technologies within Azure Cognitive Services.
Experience working in an always-on production environment.
